New Year, New Me... and 100K Followers Later 🙌

The wild ride of a simple goal that changed everything on LinkedIn

Let me tell you a story—it’s one I couldn’t have imagined writing a year ago.

Picture this: me, exactly one year ago, staring at a blank Google Doc, doing what everyone does in January—making New Year’s resolutions.

Some were the usual suspects: “eat healthier,” “work out more,” “try not to binge Netflix every weekend.” But then, I wrote something that felt... ambitious:

“Post on LinkedIn consistently and grow my community.”

Sounds simple, right? Well, spoiler alert: it was anything but.

When I started, I had days of total doubt. I’d spend hours crafting posts that barely got a handful of likes (thanks, Mom and my one supportive coworker!).

I questioned whether I was wasting my time.

But then, things started to click.

I realized LinkedIn isn’t about going viral overnight—it’s about showing up.

Consistently. Day after day, I shared stories from my cybersecurity journey, resources I wished I’d had when I started, and lessons I’d learned the hard way.

Slowly but surely, my network grew.

Fast-forward 12 months, and here I am:

  • A thriving LinkedIn community.

  • Opportunities to collaborate, learn, and grow I never thought possible.

And it all started with one simple (but life-changing) decision: to show up.

So, as the New Year approaches, I want you to know this:

Whatever your goal—whether it’s growing on LinkedIn, launching a side hustle, or mastering a new skill—it’s absolutely within your reach.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need a “perfect” plan.

You just need to start… and keep showing up.

If one of your goals this year is to level up your LinkedIn game, I’ve got something to help you do just that:

This guide will walk you through the exact strategies I used, from optimizing your profile to creating content that stands out. Whether you’re starting from zero or looking to scale, this is your roadmap.

P.S. One last thing—focus on progress, not perfection. Every post, every connection, every lesson is a step forward. Whether you dive into the Blueprint or chart your own path, just keep going.🙌
