How I Got from Zero to 25k Followers on LinkedIn in 4 Months

When I decided I was going to start posting on LinkedIn, I really didn’t think it’d have the impact it did. My LinkedIn account was deactivated for years until recently because I didn’t use it much and even though I was very active in my professional life, it just wasn’t a priority. 

But in 2024 as one of my new year's resolutions, I made it a goal to grow my presence on LinkedIn because I knew it would only benefit my career in the long term. 

Flash forward months later from when I started posting on LinkedIn in January 2024, the amount of connections, opportunities, and reach that I’ve had have been so encouraging and push me to share more of my thoughts and experiences. 

I went from having 0 reach to 1 million+ views in the past few months of regularly posting 1-2 times a week on LinkedIn. These posts have given me the chance to share my thoughts on all things career and cybersecurity, as well as provided me amazing opportunities for speaking engagements and collaborations with other key leaders in cybersecurity. 

This is one of the biggest reasons why I’ve also decided to start this newsletter. 

My biggest goal is to help you succeed in growing your professional brand and increasing your reach and influence on LinkedIn to help further your career. This will introduce new opportunities for networking, collaborations, and speaking engagements as a leader in the tech space.
